CIRSA was on the lookout for a software supplier as gambling is about to be legalized in Spain. Microgaming will offer online bingo, poker and casino software and administration services. CIRSA has said that it is delighted to enter into partnership with a world-renowned software supplier like Microgaming. The CEO of Microgaming, Roger Raatgever, said that the company is planning to make CIRSA a unique site that will cater to the gaming preferences of different people.
In Greece, OPAP, An Athens based company that manages sport betting and lottery games, is granted various special benefits like extension of contacts up to 2020. Gaming is likely to be legalized in Greece soon. Its contract with Intralot, a popular software provider, is supposed to end by the middle of 2012. OPAP has said that two gaming software suppliers have approached the company, expressing their willingness to supply gaming software, one being Intralot itself. OPAP has to make a wise choice in opting for a software supplier as it is planning to expand itself.
